This month, we continue to celebrate the birthday of John Coltrane (Sept 23, 1926), an American jazz saxophonist, bandleader and composer. He is among the most influential and acclaimed figures in the history of jazz and 20th-century music.
Heading up the celebration is Eric Wyatt, who brings his band mates from New York down to light of the stage. Joining him is legendary special guest Jeff “Tain” Watts. Tain is a drummer who has performed with Wynton Marsalis, Branford Marsalis, Betty Carter, Michael Brecker, Ravi Coltrane and many more!
