An evening of an all-over-the-map, all-things-considered musical grab bag. Intermingling Slim’s original contemporary jazz music (as heard on Sirius/XM Watercoors, WCLK Atlanta and WJZA Atlanta), with everything from 90’s R&B, Latin-Island-Afrobeat fusion, 70’s smooth jazz, 80’s rock, maybe an action Jazz Standard and…well, you get the picture. There’s never been a dull moment when Slim Gambill comes to the Velvet Note, and evenly his usual standards, this is a night that will surprise and entertain you. And will likely surprise the band too.
