Spend the most romantic night of the year reveling in the sultry sounds of renowned jazz vocalist and recording artist Karla Harris. Her performance credits include events such as the Sarasota Jazz Festival, Portland Jazz Festival, Atlanta Jazz Festival, and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as part of the Arts Across America live performance series. Karla will perform with a 4-piece band comprised of Atlanta Jazz legends. Growing up in St. Louis she was inspired by greats like Billie Holiday, Barbra Streisand, Sammy Davis Jr., the Fifth Dimension, Aretha Franklin, and more. With a performance career that has spanned three decades, she now inspires the next generation as an artist-in-residence at Kennesaw State University, teaching Applied Vocal Jazz to aspiring singers passionate about this uniquely American art form.
