Meeting Raises Alarm on Invasive Algae

A community meeting at The Peninsula Club in Cornelius raised an alarm about the threat of a cyanobacteria that has infested Lake Norman, while also soliciting $60,000 from local stakeholders to fight the cyanobacteria’s growth between now and the spring.
